I'm taking a bit of a break from writing since NaNo just ended, but I plan to get back to it this weekend. As for shopping, I'm actually very ahead this year. I got lucky with being able to find gifts for people relatively easily. So I'm about 90% done I'd say and should be able to finish this weekend.

Sounds like you had a busy end of November! Glad you had time to play tourist! I went to Chicago for the first time in Feb this year on a business trip. It was right after Snowpocalypse, and I actually only got to spend one afternoon in the city. Hope to go visit again someday when it's not so cold. Haha.

My shopping is finished with the exception of a gift card I have to pick up. My cards are all mailed as of last Monday. Now I can enjoy the weeks leading up to the holiday.

I'm so jealous that you went the the Florida Keys. I've never been there, but I want to go. It was an option for next summer, but I think we are going to go to St. Thomas instead.

I'm envious. I love traveling. I'm just outside of Chicago myself, so that wouldn't be a big deal, but I'd love to visit Florida, especially with the weather we're having! And conferences are always fun, too; it sounds like you had a good time.

And nice job keeping up with things even with everything going. Four chapters is wonderful progress! Keep it up!
