Never Mind Keanu Reeves
Keanu Reeves is an actor some love and some hate. I happen to fall on the love side. He’s not the world’s best actor, but he’s chosen or been selected for some roles that have had a big impact. I’m a big The Matrix fan, and yep, I like all three – four if you count Animatrix. It happens to be another one of his roles that helped in forming some of my thoughts for my characters in Neverlove and They All Fall Down.
Never mind Keanu Reeves. Think Constantine: a suicide survivor turned paranormal detective discovers a plot to bring hell forth onto earth’s plane, as in some serious hell on earth. He does what he can to muck things up for the bad guys.
My main character, Abby, is a Cleanser: a suicide survivor trained to guide lost souls to The Gates for judgment.
Unlike Constantine, Abby can’t exorcise demons from the bodies of those possessed, but get her around a bunch of Harvestors (humans who sold their souls to the devil, died, and are now in service to him) and watch all holy water and fire break loose.
There’s more to find out about Cleansers and Harvestors in Neverlove and They All Fall Down, both available now.
Gwen Gardner, my Partner in ParanormYA, also has Givin’ Up the Ghost and A Guilty Ghost Surprised available to add to your paranormal reading fun.
About A Guilty Ghost Surprised: Indigo Eady and gang are back with a feather and a Chance setting off another twisting-turning investigation to bring a cold case, and loved ones, closure at last.
About They All Fall Down: Free of their duties as Cleanser and Harvestor, Abby and Basil try to move on with their lives. But some secrets remain. And what is done in the dark won’t be good when it comes to light.
